Japanese Bayonet?

Looking for information on this bayonet. It looks Japanese. This type was used in Britain as well. All the hallmarks I have seen dont resemble this one. Any help would be appreciated. 

 

Details:

 Blade approx 15 3/4"

Total length" 20 1/4"

Serial number on hook

Hallmark "B"

Scabbard is metal with what appears to be a serial number as well. "Non-matching" with blade.

 

Believe it to be a WWII era. Appreciate any comments/information.
