An early issue Stable belt, issued to a New Zealand S.A.S. Officer serving in the Borneo Confrontation 1965.

N.Z. Had detachments serving with 22 S.A.S. Regiment during this conflict.

the outside has faded, with exposure to sun.

 

these early buckles were known by collectors in the 80s as Victor pattern buckles. Only the early ones were marked.
