Picked this Mk II up some time ago this example has a nice deep rich worn patina that just speaks of heavy field use and has that been there done that look I like so much in my helmets.

It is a 1941 dated C.L/.C. steel lot batch 35 it is sporting a 42 dated VMC liner in a size 7 1/8, There is direct evidence of ghosting paint loss and a shine to the exterior of the helmet body from were a camo net sat on this example for many years, and is sporting a rather nice knotted Canadian late war two tone camo net,

Great helmet and net, it surely does have that "been there" look and would go great on a mannequin! Thanks for posting and sharing these beautiful pieces.   Scott
