Deborah Mitford, Duchess of Devonshire and Andrew Cavendish, Duke of Devonshire in 1941. Cavendish is in the 2nd Battalion  Coldstream Guards, he sees action in North Africa and Italy.

Corporal Paul Dumaine was in 1942 engaged to a English girl named Joan, but Dumaine was in on the Dieppe Operation and was captured, here they are after the war back in England on their wedding day.

Here's one interestingly from the Korean War. A U.S. GI we see as a guest off to the right, probably in Japan.

Sergeant Harry Creagen with his bride Matsuko and son Michael on the front of the Toronto Daily Star after arriving at Union Station in Toronto in June 1955. The couple were married for 43 years before the veteran of two wars died in 1997.

Bill and Takako Watts married in 1949 .The Australian Watts, a Sergeant at the time, evidently a veteran of the Pacific War at least, not sure if he was in Africa or say Palestine or the Levant beforehand.

Bill Watts and Takako had two children by the time they returned to Australia in 1953, they would have five more, a total of seven kids.
