patches Posted March 8, 2024 Author #76 Posted March 8, 2024 A interesting one, an Fahenjunker (Officer Candidate) who's assigned at the moment to an Unteroffiziersschule (Non Commissioned Officer Candidate School), that's the US embroidered on his Shoulder Strap, US for Unteroffizier Schule. Gunner87 Posted May 24, 2024 #82 Posted May 24, 2024 Reichsprotektor of Bohemia and Moravia SS Obergruppenführer and General der Polizei Reinhard Tristan Eugen Heydrich, born 7th March 1904, and Lina Mathilde Manninen von Osten, born 14th June 1911, had married in Grossenbrode on 26th December 1931. Lina remained living in the Lower Castle in Panenské Břežany after her husband was fatally wounded by SOE Agents on the 27th May 1942, dying on the 4th June 1942, and an unrepentant Nazi until her death on 14th August 1985. Shockingly after a series of court cases against the West German government between 1956 and 1959 Lina won the right to a pension equivalent to that of a German General Killed in Action.
