Boy Howdy Posted May 25, 2022 #1 Posted May 25, 2022 Picked this up to day. What do you all think about it? Age? Authenticity? All opinions appreciated.
Tonomachi Posted May 26, 2022 #2 Posted May 26, 2022 I'm not an expert on these but I know they have been heavily reproduced. I've keep photos of a couple of these badges for my reference that I felt were real and they match your piece with the raised manufacture name and address. I assume these were worn during the French Indochina War era prior to the US involvement in the South Vietnamese War.
Preppy Picker Posted May 26, 2022 #4 Posted May 26, 2022 I wonder if a record was kept because they are serial numbered.
Boy Howdy Posted May 26, 2022 Author #5 Posted May 26, 2022 Wouldn't that be interesting? So, is this a beret badge or something worn on the chest? I can't find any pictures on line.

Ivydiv Posted May 23, 2023 #7 Posted May 23, 2023 I believe the same 7th AB design was used on their patches during the 2nd Indochina War (The American War)
