I really don't know gas mask canisters that well and was wondering if anyone knows the time period and country of manufacture. I'm not sure if it's WWII, post-war or a reproduction. My first thought was WWII German but it seems to be missing metal eyes and stud. The can measures 10 inches tall by 4 7/8 inches in diameter. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
