Hello,  I picked up this "gently used" Adrian helmet.  I know very little about this style of helmet.  I'm assuming WW1, possibly Belgian?   The paint is a lighter shade of green, I don't think there is another color underneath.  The front appears to be the side with the holes, I don't see any indication of an insignia being there previously.    Any assistance is appreciated, thanks!  DOug

How about Italian Army Great War. They had no insignia attachment, just Stenciled in Black paint the Arm of the unit, Infantry Cavalry, Signals etc etc, and were painted in various shades of Dark Green, Medium Green etc.

I would go with Italian also based on the color of the paint and the lack of holes for fixing a badge. The Italians used the M15 before manufacturing their own variant.
