Iraqi Camo Blouse

Acquired this in Iraq back in 2006 but never bothered to actually research it. Can anyone tell me anything about the camo pattern?

I believe that pattern was used by the Iraqi Training Brigade around 05. I need to find one for my collection.

Hi Brig, it was actually a pattern that existed under Saddam's rule but not often seen in use. A bunch of this stuff was then issued to the ICDC in late 03 and into 04. If I recall, it was a copy of a Saudi pattern which was a copy of the US 5 color pattern. The patch is a Private's rank. If the tag reads HHD or Daewoo, or carries the Jihm mark, then there is every possibility it was one of the jackets from the Saddam period. Hope this helps some?    Scott

It does. Unfortunately, I'll have to wait to check the tag as I boxed it up today for my upcoming move!
