DDR Medals & Ribbon Bars

A couple of days ago I bought these East German medals and ribbons bars along with a bunch of U.S. stuff. The price was right and unfortunately nothing is named, but overall all the pieces are in great shape and it was the first chance in a while to grab some Cold War-era militaria.

 

From top row to bottom, left to right:

 

Medal for Faithful Service in Militarised Organs of the Interior Ministry (Gold - 30 years of service) - Medaille für Treue Dienste in den bewaffneten Organen des Ministeriums des Innern

Medal of Merit of the Combat Groups of the Working-Class (Bronze) - Verdienstmedaille der Kampfgruppen der Arbeiterklasse

Medal of Merit of Organs of the Ministry of the Interior (Silver) - Verdienstmedaille der Organe des Ministeriums des Innern

Medal for Faithful Service in Militarised Organs of the Interior Ministry (Silver - 10 years of service) - Medaille für Treue Dienste in den bewaffneten Organen des Ministeriums des Innern

Medal of Merit of Organs of the Ministry of the Interior (Gold) - Verdienstmedaille der Organe des Ministeriums des Innern

Second ribbon bar is Gold, Silver and Bronze awards for either:

OR

Medal For Faithful Service in the Border Guards of the GDR - Medaille für treue Dienste in den Grenztruppen der DDR

Nice grouping of DDR awards.  I particularly like the cased awards and the ribbon bars.

I think the unidentified ribbon is for "Aktivist der sozialistischen Arbeit". Nice medal set!
