I am a bit concerned a bout the ribbed border on the front of the frame.  There appear to be too many of the ribs and they appear to be missing some detail particularly in the top left corner of the arm.  Is the core magnetic?

yes it is magnetic

Not sure what you are asking about the pin denting the frame..

This defect here looks to be caused by the pin. And the gap between the two pieces of the frame looks unusual. I don’t think qualify control would let that through.

In regard to separation issues, I have seen EK1's and EK2's with some separation either slightly or quite extreme, usually caused by poor fusion during production, or hand vaulting. (EK1's)
