Hello Everyone,

Over the last three months, I’ve been very lucky with finding pieces for my WW1 German collection. I thought I’d share a few photos. I hope everyone enjoys them.

Thanks, I was lucky to get it.

I have seen them on dealer sites, but never with the belt, in as found condition. Just great. Dave

This Belt Buckle is for Prussian Telegraph Troops. We guess the loops were to attach some kind of snaps on a safety belt or something when climbing poles.

Google around images to see more of the type.

The loops on the buckle were to help support a reel used for retrieving telegraph wire.

Nice name tag on the back of the magazine pouch: "Kraftfahrer Wölffert 1. Kompanie Ersatz Abteilung ?" (Driver Woelffert, 1st Co. Replacement Bn ?).

Thank you for the clarification,  interesting, when you look at images of Telegraph Troops, they all seem to be wearing your standard belt buckle, was this then a special duty worn one?

Outstanding pieces!  Some are very difficult to come by.
