MinorInHistory Posted August 17 Share #1 Posted August 17 Hello, any help on this one would be appreciated, as 3R isn’t my area of expertise. Thanks.
SARGE Posted August 20 Share #2 Posted August 20 I don't like the pin assembly at all. It is oddly cut from oversize flat metal and does not fit neatly.
jmd62 Posted August 20 Share #3 Posted August 20 Same here Sarge, I've never seen that half-arse setup before.
SARGE Posted August 21 Share #4 Posted August 21 I can't really see the catch on the bottom of the badge. If it is a round flat piece of metal with a notch it is a reproduction made by Souval in Vienna Austria.
Preppy Picker Posted August 21 Share #5 Posted August 21 The Souval half moon catch, it’s hard to tell from the picture how the catch is made. There is a dark spot where the notch should be so it’s impossible to see any detail. It’s not any maker I’m familiar with especially with that hinge. The hinge base is nothing I ever remember seeing. Is there a database on line of wound badge makers to match it to?
