WW2 British Royal Artillery Cap Flash?

Can anyone tell me what the blue and red patch behind the Royal Artillery badge on this 1943 dated beret represents? Is it a flash for the artillery or a parent/affiliated unit? Thanks a lot

It's the regimental flash for the Royal Artillery. That is a very nice beret.

In this case, it is an OR badge on the backing.

This was buried under a layer of white paint which was covered by a layer of post WW2 green.
