Preppy Picker Posted September 12, 2023 Share #1 Posted September 12, 2023 Looking for help with deciphering this book. Did this book belong to a woman? And anything else anyone might know. Thank you in advance.
Proud Kraut Posted September 12, 2023 Share #2 Posted September 12, 2023 Yes, it belonged to a woman, Elfriede Roeber, née Wolf, She was from Seedorf, Northern Germany and served as a farmer´s helper. Kind of employment 5. End of employment 6. Signature of employer No info on her employments after the Reichsbahn one. Does the booklet only have 7 pages? Proud Kraut Posted September 13, 2023 Share #8 Posted September 13, 2023 This last seal confirmed the change of her name from "Wolf" to "Röber", obviously after her wedding in 1943. My guess is she ceased working as an employee then so the Arbeitsbuch was not longer used.
