River Rat1 Posted September 21, 2023 Share #1 Posted September 21, 2023 These were issued to the RAF pilots in 1953. Originally had a different dial collectors call the thin arrow. MOD who does repair and service to RAF equipment changed out the dial with one with a different broad arrow mark so how it's got its name the fat arrow. The thin arrow dial where more radioactive probably why the switch of the dials. The dial had a touch up so lowered the price a bit why I bought it at the time. I always look for deals so little defects don't bother me. Link to comment
