Hombre Posted October 7, 2023 Share #1 Posted October 7, 2023 I am curious about this knife... A British MOD... I believe this is a military one but I wonder about the Molle sheath... Is that also military meaning that some of the knives were issued like this? Should really appreciate opinions... good and bad... These were issued with a riveted black leather sheath. in my opinion the sheath in the picture is a private purchase and not an MoD issue. Gunner... It seems that sheaths alone are pretty rare. I have not found any online that are currently in stock. I wonder if 'Sheffield Knives J Adams Ltd' who are the official manufacturer of that model and also supply it via their website for private purchase might be worth contacting to see if they will sell you the sheath on its own..... https://sheffieldknives.co.uk/acatalog/Military-Knives-p1.html Looking at the website it appears your pattern knife is supplied with a brown leather sheath so it appears the MoD also procure both colours depending on the pattern being issued. Hombre Posted October 11, 2023 Author Share #5 Posted October 11, 2023 Thank you, Gunner! I will see how I will do... Maybe I just keep it as it is and be content with that... It should be different if I shouldn´t have the Molle sheath... I have to do more research... 😀 Best, Stefan

Would you be able to post an image from Sheffield Knives? Kind regards and thanks. Gunner...
