Austro-Hungarian Navy Contingent Peking 1910

Recommended Posts

Wasn't aware of this, the Nation States who had interests in China keep a fairly large Military presence in Peking years after the Boxer Rebellion. Here's the 1910 Austrian contribution, four officers and eighty men,  too bad we can make out their Ship Tallys to see their ship , but a good guess is  these men are probably off one of the Ships stationed at the German Colony of Tsingtao, like he Cruiser SMS Kaiserin Elisabeth etc, and that the  Contingents rotated every so often.
