Hi Jim.

I believe these collar tabs date from the Great War. The link will take you to an artillery officers tunic with similar design albeit tailor made from that period https://www.csmilitaria.co.uk/shop.php?code=12444

I have attached two pages from 'Officers and Soldiers of the French Army 1918, 1915 to victory' by Andre Jouineau

If you don't get another opinion here and would like an experts advice there is the www.greatwarforum.org This is free to join and has members with experience across a wide range of subjects that are only too happy to help. You post in the same way as we do here.

Kind regards

Gunner
