Mr. Bushido Posted January 20 Share #2 Posted January 20 It's IJA "Type 88 super quick fuse【八八式 榴臼】". The bottom two letters indicate it is for Howitzer or Mortar shells. I asked the below on Japan Forum and got this from Mr. Majestic; any better idea? "six" and "soldier". Probably is an abbreviation for "6th infantry.. Details are unknown, but it appears to represent the 6th Infantry Division or 6th Infantry Regiment.
