Identification Assistance-Silver Knotted Cord

Hi:  What is this cord?  Came from an estate of US Army vet who was in Europe…I am thinking BW…Music or band or…?

Hmm, does not look like any other Bw cord I have seen before but I will check my files again.

The one end has the clip what’s on the other end ?

The other end is woven into the cord for looping over a shoulder.  Could this be DDR vs. BW?  Thank you for looking and checking
