Polish Cap Eagle

Hello

I'm looking for more info on this particular model of cap eagle. 

I'm having a tough time finding info). Looking at LG feathers, tall cross on crown & shield below.

I'm not sure if this answers your question but here is an example I have on a ex-pat's, who flew with the RAF, side cap.  I'm sure that I not telling you something that you probably don't already know but our examples are pre-war/wartime Polish Army cap badges.  The post war examples, under the communist regime, were the same sans crown. Hope this helps.

Having some knowledge of these, though no expert, I believe yours is a Polish Army in Exile, or Free Polish Forces cap badge and looking at the fixings, made by Spink & Sons as the J Gaunt badges, also made in the UK were stamped with the company name.
