Type 97 sniper rifles

For your viewing pleasure; here are my two Type 97 sniper rifles. One Kokura and the other a Nagoya arsenal.

I assisted Vic Soto and Frank Allen with the latest sniper book, and we keep track of known 97/99 snipers and scopes, with the hopes of matching some of them back up.  Your Nagoya, (if blurry serial is 10182), is a known number as well as the scope (561) that is on it.  It has been reported as all matching with full mum.

 

Your Kokura #6429 is a new number for my files.  Is the rifle all matching?  I can't make out the scope issue number.  It would be most helpful if you would let me know the issue number on the side of scope, and the scope serial number at the eyepiece.

6429 is all matching. The scope I got separately from the rifle. It's number 7031. I also have another Nagoya number 1960 with scope number 12731. It is also all matching and unground.

Your Kokura scope is a known number as well as your additional Nagoya rifle and scope.
