Need help dating / identifying a US M1 helmet liner

Please can someone help me date / identify an old M1 helmet liner that I picked up in Thailand.

It looks European.

Definelty not a US M1 liner... 

 

More of "Euro Clone". The components are based off the M1 with similarities but the webbing, chin strap and sweatband are all non US..
