easterneagle87 Posted August 30, 2024 #1 Posted August 30, 2024 Going to start a new thread after seeing this video. It's a German propaganda film, but shows two US Lend Lease Shermans taken out by the Germans. I had to stop the video and screen shot the frames so pardon if they are a little fuzzy. Let's see what else you guys can come up with.

patches Posted December 25, 2025 #20 Posted December 25, 2025 Camouflage Paint Job and All. U.S. M3 T48 GMC, equipped with the M1 57 mm antitank gun, it fell into German hands in 1944, the 72nd Infantry Division (See Yellow Cross Divisional Symbol). Other Markings Gr.R.105 is for Grenadier Regiment 105, 14 Company, the regimental anti tank company and the Capital K is for the 1st Panzer Army, K being the original symbol when this Army was Panzer Group Kleist, with this K retained after it was retiled. This vehicle is from April 1945 in Czechoslovakia. The Soviets renamed this one, as the SU 57.
patches Posted January 7 #21 Posted January 7 Hey just now found a photo of this actual captured Soviet SU 57, at first we thought it came to grief under German ownership, but it seems to be parked and has a tarp covering it's nose, we thought at first it was it's engine hood blown up, like it was hit and the hood got twisted and stuff.
patches Posted February 1 #22 Posted February 1 A Lend Lease Churchill speeds past a destroyed German Armored Car of the 19th Panzer Division's Recon Battalion, Khakov Region like April 1943.
