I got my first uniform

Hello everyone I hope you are all having a great day, I have recently got my first Easter German uniform. I believe it is NVA officer uniform please correct me if I am wrong. Would it be bad if I put shoulder boards and collar patches on it, I would love your opinion

If it´s not an uniform of a specific IDed soldier one could add some collar insignia and shoulder boards IMHO.
