Hi,

 

Here is the third post showing Russian soldiers from the Crimean War period. Although the photos (in cdv format) were taken in 1860, the uniforms are those of the 1855 regulations.

Wonderful CDVs of these uniforms.  Were they made as a series to collect in 1860?

Yes. Some series were made at the by William Carrick at his photography studio in St.Petersbur (his studio was first located in 19 Malaya Morskaya, later moved to 1/6 in the 5th line of Vassilievsky Island).
