Hello, i recently bought a M16 that stood out to me because it looked pretty big in comparison to my other helmets, but i cant see the size mark in my helmet because it is rusted away i think. Any help?

The shape of the Lugs give a determination of the size, the different ways the Lugs look were to accommodate the Front Shield Plate.

Don't size 68 and 70 also fall under the category of lugs that look like the size 66?

I completely forgot I have another book here, this one a Schiffer Book on all WWI Helmets, in the German chapter it does make mention along with photos of the Size 62,64, 66 Lugs, that 66 and 68 are the same, so too any of the Size  70 that might of been made we gather.

This book here.
