Proud Kraut Posted September 3, 2023 Share #178 Posted September 3, 2023 Yes they did! The depicted soldiers are equipped with the 1st type of Bw gas mask can (WH type covered with OD cloth) so I assume the photo must have been taken in the mid/late 1950´s. Nice one! patches Posted October 18, 2023 Author Share #184 Posted October 18, 2023 Recruits I believe in the 70s undergoing basic. Some of them seem to be wearing Camouflage gloves, is this correct?
Proud Kraut Posted October 20, 2023 Share #185 Posted October 20, 2023 You are correct patches. The first 3 fingers gloves for wear with the combat uniform were made of splinter camo cloth and leather inside.
